This week we were working on the atrium š It was supposed to be a simple recladding job, remove all of the rotted weatherboards and replace them. But with this 40 year old house, it was anything but simple!
As we worked up towards the upper windows, we found out the two of the three window frames were completely rotted so out they went and new windows were installed. The second problem was that most of the bottom window frames were showing signs of damage so we chopped out the damaged sections and replaced them with Tassi Oak as well with most of the glass beading. The atrium now is ready for the painters to bring the area back to its original condition šØ
